HIGH SCHOOL: INTRO
Grade 7 to Grade 12
Aurora Private High School was founded in 1993, based on a system of ‘invitational
education’, in which children are seen as able, valuable and responsible. Our ethos
is governed by Christian values, where students are encouraged to explore and express
their individuality within acceptable boundaries, and ultimately take responsibility
for their actions. We guide them to follow their hearts and develop into the best
people they can be.
This system has produced a community of teenagers who know how to think innovatively,
express their ideas and take charge of their own lives. Our VAC programme (Value Added Courses) allows the students to graduate with 6-8 tertiary-accredited courses by internationally recognised institutions such as Monash University and IT School Intellect, over and above their matriculation certificate. Students are prepared for the matriculation examinations set by the IEB.
Sport is compulsory for our grade 7 - 9 students and we encourage everyone in grade 10 - 12 to take part in sports and culture.

Visitor's Day is held every Thursday. Tours take place at 08h30, 09h30, 10h30 and
